Other Available Home Inspection Services: by Your Home Inspector

Radon Gas Testing by Hawley Home Inspections, LLC

Radon Gas is the second leading cause of Lung Cancer after smoking.  A Radon Test will last a minimum of forty-eight hours and is conducted at room temperature in the lowest livable level of the home.

Preliminary test results are normally available at the end of the test. Our Radon Technicians are state-licensed and use Constant Radon Measurement monitors for hourly readings.

Mold Testing by Hawley Home Inspections, LLC

Mold and Mildew problems are sometimes hard to identify because the source is often in isolated areas such as walls attics and crawl spaces. Our mold test compares the mold count inside the building to the mold count outside the building.

Testing allows us to record an accurate comparison. Swab testing is also available for visible microbial growth. Our mold inspectors are IAC2 Certified.

Septic Tank Inspections by Hawley Home Inspections, LLC

Septic Tank Inspections are an auxiliary charge provided by an outside vendor. We will schedule the Septic Inspection to coincide with the home inspection. Verbal results will be available after the inspection with a written report to follow.

Sewer Camera Inspections by Hawley Home Inspections, LLC

Our inspectors are nationally certified for sewer camera inspections of residential sewer lines. We recommend a sewer pipe inspection in new homes as well as older homes. We often find loose and broken joints even when there is evidence of an upgrade to modern PVC or ABS sewer lines.

The best indicators are large mature Soft Maple trees in the vicinity of the sewer lines. Another give away is other homes in the neighborhood that have had sewer line upgrades. The older clay tile, Orange-burg, or Cast Iron sewer pipes are the most subject to failure and blockage by tree roots.

Your Digital Home Inspection Report Will be Available With-In Twenty Four Hours by Hawley Home Inspections, LLC

Our standard inspections include a termite report and a digital copy of your reports and color pictures taken during the inspection.  Radon testing, Air Quality Testing, Septic Tank inspections, and Sewer Scope Inspections are available when scheduled with the home inspection.  Rates are slightly higher if not scheduled with a home inspection.

We will inspect your prospective new home following the standard rules as set forth by the State of Illinois and the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI).  We are a member of the Better Business Bureau with an A+ rating.  We are associate members of the Greater Gateway Realtors Association, the Realtor’s Association of Southern Illinois, Egyptian Board of Realtors, and the St Louis Association of Realtors.
